Littera 1.2 Comes With RSS Feed Support

February 18th, 2010

We are pleased to release Littera 1.2 with support of managing reading for your RSS feeds.

To setup a reading list to read RSS feed, go to Edit Reading List > Sync Service. You will notice RSS Feed is added as a new sync service on top of Delicious. We have added sample RSS feeds to make it easy for you to explore this new feature. In essence, you can now use Littera as a RSS reader.

We also introduced changes to simplify the difference between free and full version of Littera. Free version now has a limit of 3 reading lists, on top of product advertisements. Beside this limit, free version is fully functional. Fullscreen mode and orientation lock for web reader, previously paid features, are now included in the free version of Littera. We hope you will find this app useful and will support us by consider upgrading to full version via in-app purchase.

We made effort to improve the usability for article listing in this release. New font is used and article title will be dimmed in lighter gray when you mark the article as read. Blue ‘new’ icon is displayed for newly created articles. And the article sorting options are revamped. ‘Sort By’ button now reflects the current sort by mode with different icons for sort by ‘Article Name’,'Site Address’,'Created Date’ or ‘Read Status’. Sort Ascending/Descending is now a button on toolbar for quick access.

Littera 1.1

February 5th, 2010

Littera 1.1 is now available on the iTunes App Store.

This is an ‘interface enhancement’ release where we improved the theming engine beneath the app and added a new “Littera” theme as the default theme for the app. Landscape view is now supported for all views in the app. And in case you have not noticed, we have a new app icon design with this release.
